Home Learning 2021
Whilst we are in Lockdown 3.0 all Home Learning can be found on your child's Google Classroom page. You can find our Remote Education Provision information for parents here, and you might also like to see what remote education should look like, here.
Once we return to School and where individuals have to self isolate, work will be provided by the class teacher as much as is practical; in addition you can use the resources below. Please note if your child is unwell, or absent for another reason, there is no expectation that they complete schoolwork and work will only be provided in exceptional circumstances agreed with Mrs Hull. You are, of course, welcome to make use of the extensive resources on the school website.
Should a bubble/class need to isolate, work will be provided through Google Classroom, in line with our Remote Learning Contingency Policy. Instructions on signing into Google Classroom have already been issued, and further instructions on the structure of the school day for remote learning will be sent out when needed. Additional materials will continue to be available on this page.
Useful links - we continue to use White Rose Maths in school, as well as TT Rockstars, Spelling Shed and Mathletics (links below). These can all be used at home as well. Class pages also have useful links. Alongside many other resources, BBC Bitesize have catch-up lessons for each year group covering key concepts, which parents may find useful.
Activity suggestions - there are many STEM, creative and physical activity suggestions below. If your child would like to share any work with their class teacher, please do email.Safeguarding
While we hope you find our home learning ideas helpful, the most important thing is that we are able to keep our families safe and healthy. These links may help with that:
NSPCC - talking to children worried about coronavirus
SCARF Home Learning Pack - keeping myself healthy, inside and out
Childline - children can contact at any time for advice and support.
If you have an urgent safeguarding or wellbeing concern about a child please call MASH (Safeguarding Hub) on 0345 050 7666.
You can also contact Mrs Hull as Designated Safeguarding Lead at head@kidmore-end.co.uk or by phone during school hours 0118 357 3149.
