    Breakfast Club

    Required for January 2017

    (term time only, initially fixed term until July 2017)

    BREAKFAST CLUB LEADER

    8 hours over 5 days a week. Salary from Grade 5 point 17, FTE £17,547 (actual salary £3,160) depending on experience.

    Duties required:

    • Ensuring safe arrival of children at club and safe delivery to classrooms for the start of the school day
    • Being responsible for day to day administration and record keeping
    • Buying food and consumables within an agreed budget
    • Preparing and providing breakfast for the children
    • Administering first aid where appropriate
    • Tidying and clearing away at the end of club
    • Working with agreed school policies and procedures, in particular relating to safeguarding children

     

    BREAKFAST CLUB ASSISTANT

    7.5 hours over 5 days a week.  Salary from Grade 4 point 11, FTE £15,507 (actual salary £2,618) depending on experience.

    Duties required:

    • Helping ensure safe arrival of children at club and safe delivery to classrooms for the start of the school day
    • Helping to provide a healthy breakfast to children
    • Tidying the room and clearing away at the end of club
    • Administering first aid where appropriate
    • Working within agreed policies and procedures, in particular relating to safeguarding children

    Mid-day Supervisor

     
    • 3 to 5 days a week, 1.5 hours a day. Salary Grade 4 point 11 £8.83 per hour (includes holiday pay)

      Duties and skills required

      • Setting up and tidying of hall for lunch, which involves lifting table and chairs. 
      • Supervising children eating their lunch and afterwards during their play time facilitating a relaxed, safe and happy break.
